The Print Room, London

Aperitivo is a pure Italian life concept and is very difficult to find outside Italy. Well probably the hardest to find is a place that can serve you Aperitivo's drinks or do a more fashionable version of it like the most known "Happy Hour".

This is why we got excited in finding the 21-The Print Room in Covent Garden Plaza. A top floor cocktail bar with an incredible terrace facing the Market, serving Italian Aperitivo, in particular a very nice draught Prosecco.

So yes you will have the pleasure to finally drink  a nice Spritz in the heart, well at the top of Covent Garden in London, having some nibbles, relaxing after a day of work or shopping. The atmosphere is very cool, even the dance music makes the whole experience pleasant. You will may feel like being on the Italian Sea Coast.

Because Every day is a Food Revolution Day

One of the most recent and popular trend around the world is about promoting a healthier and better food diet. Many famous chef and celebrities around the world have started to look after this cause by creating "The Food Revolution Day" which has been embraced even from many professionals of the sector as my friend Elena who is a food technologist  and we asked her to tell more about it in the following post.

For those who do not already know, yesterday  19.05.2012 was the Food Revolution Day, which is the international day dedicated to a good and healthy diet. All over the world have been taken place public and private events whose intent was to bring  good culture of food to young and old people.

The keywords of the day? Taste, health, natural food made at home, sustainability, conviviality, tradition and innovation. Nothing so difficult, although nowadays there is a distant memory of the Sunday dinner table in a family with lots of good food made by mom enriched by nice conversations.

And that's how I decided to spend my Food Revolution Day, with a good family dinner with mom, dad, uncles and boyfriend cooking  delicious and healthy homemade meals! Because at Allegrucci’s home is always a special day to celebrate good food, since it is the protagonist of our daily lives.
As the natives of the Mediterranean diet, we should set an example to the world how good and healthy diet is the cornerstone of the lifestyle of those who want not only live longer but also live better. How ? Start by find out what you eat and understand what there is really on your plate, because the food we eat it , turns getting our bodies and our minds.

I magnifici 20

As you know we love talking about Italian food..I guess..

After an experimental phase of foreign cuisine, including experiments of its side effects, I began my search for eating healthier but with taste, possibly with an Italian touch

Finally, under the advice of one of my best friend who studies nutrition and food technology I discovered Marco Bianchi and his “magnifici 20” and his wonderful cooking diary!

So who is Marco Bianchi and the magnifici 20?
Marco is a biochemical technician who deals with food nutrition and processing. I know sounds something very complicated. Well “simply” Marco is a chef researcher who deals  with cancer research and teach to children how to prevent obesity.

And here come into play the magnifici 20..hurray! The magnifici 20 are the families of food that you should never miss in your daily diet because their nutrition property  would help you living a more healthy life and prevent diseases like cancer.
As an orphan of Italian products, I found the maginifici 20 such an excellent handbook for my weekly food shopping.
But It’s not over as the reason why we are talking about Marco Bianchi is that all the fantastic receipes that he suggests are made with ingredients that are very easy to find even abroad without too many problems.
If you are now intrigue about Marco Bianchi and you want to start to follow his yummy diary and how to learn how to take care of us even cooking check his website!!
